Conference overview
Modun MUN is located in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and will take place in mid-June. Once the conference begins, delegates will arrive at the Corporate Hotel, one of the best venues for hosting such an event. Located in an accessible area, we aim to ensure that all delegates arrive on time, taking into account traffic and convenience for everyone.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our staff, who will direct you to the Ulaanbaatar Hall. With space to fit over one hundred people and luxurious aesthetics, this hall will host our opening ceremony. Attendance is mandatory for all delegates, staff, and dais members. Following the ceremony, delegates will be dismissed in an organized fashion and guided to their respective committee rooms. Staff and dais members will assist in leading delegates, and some committees may remain in the hall.
Lunch is not provided; however, a delegate package with goodies different from other traditional MUN kits will be available. All committees will conclude at the same time, and all participants must attend the closing ceremony, where awards will be announced. Participation awards will be given, along with a Best Position Paper award, which may be awarded to a delegate from any committee.
Individual awards are given at the discretion of the committee chairs, including Best Delegate, Outstanding Delegate, and Honorable Mention. Chairs reserve the right to disqualify delegates from award consideration for any reason they see fit, and such disqualifications may affect future applications. It is advised to carefully read all materials provided.
